I'm Robert, 62 years old and because of bankrupt of the company I worked for 38 years now without work and lot of free time.
That's the reason I started 10 months ago with building my first 3d printer the Anet A6.
I learned a lot with flashing Marlin, installing autoleveling and a lot of upgrades. For the moment I'm building a Tatara frame in 4mm steel.
I never learned German language, but I hope you don't mind for my writing in English. I'm from Belgium and I speak Dutch.
We still have the Google translate...

Hello and welcome,
I hope you find your way around here, despite language differences. Personally I would recommend DeepL.com for translations. :-)

Hi Robert, I'm Dieter and have your age and perhaps also your free time :)
Living in France I also started to be interested in 3D printing with an Anet A6 lately.
Today I searched this forum for "Tartara" and found this thread.
Congratulations for your Steel-frame project, but 4mm isn't it a bit too heavy?
What are your experiences so far, where did you get the frame cut?
I worked hard to get to Marlin, there was no Bootloader on the board and I got it running only some days ago.
Cheers to Belgium, where I lived for nearly 20 years

It's a mistake from me, the tatara is 3mm steel, not 4! Total weight frame: 9 kg
I got it from Ebay, seller in Lithouwen.

Here's a link where I posted some of my printed objects with the Anet A6 Tatara with Bowden setup.
